At the present day, marine tourism, which is an important branch of the tourism sector, relationships with the sea of Turkey and its increasing the potential for creating a greater interest by the day and tourism revenues will continue to gain in an increasing share. The number and increase the capacity of private and commercial yachts registered in the Turkish ports and marinas and with the growing interest of foreign flagged yachts coast of Turkey, staff working are expected to show an improvement not only quantitatively but also qualitatively in the tourism sector. Marine tourism can be summarized in the form of yachts investment and management , yacht harbor and marine management, cruiser tourism and feribot management, water sports and diving tourism management. Yacht tourism sector in the development of these direction is not only pave the way for investors with existing regulations but also necessitates the training of staff working in the yacht tourism industry. Hospitality service program, designated as the curriculum of the programs is rarely discussed as part of a lesson or course with the existing regulation at the level of associate degree. As can be seen, the staff who run not only a training for the sector, but also must be equipped to recognize sector and to solve the problems facing. Prospective, students are placed according to high school diplomas and Higher Education Institutions Exam scores Student Selection and Placement Center (SSPC). |
Graduation Requirements |

Students who successfully complete all compulsory courses specified in the course plan and the minimum number of elective courses required; complete 120 ECTS credits and have a minimum CGPA of 2.00/ 4.00 will graduate. |
Transition to higher level |

Students who graduate from Marina and Yacht Management, can upper state of a transition (License Program) with DGS exam or round off the license supplement with OEF. Programs that Graduate students can the upper stage of a transition with DGS exam are as follows: Maritime Transportation Management Engineering, Maritime Business Management, Business Administration, Logistics Management, International Business Management. |

Front office, business and technical service departments of Marinas, as a manager of yacht management company in tourism regions, the agencies in the field of marine tourism, graduate students of the program can establish agencies in the field of marine tourism. Graduate students can work as a organizer at sales departments of yacht sales companies, yacht fitting-out and water sports equipment companies, graduates can work as a organizer of the companies in the field of water sports sector. |

The students each semester, at least one midterm and final (final) are subjected to examination. In the calculation of the student's final grade, midterm and final semester of studies by weight (final) exam each weight of less than 40% and not more than 60%. |

Earned degree requirements and rules Bartin University Associate Degree Education and Examination Regulations is defined.
